Its a good thing

Today, I was driving on a roughly paved, destroyed road. Potholes plagued the road and lines were faint at times. Without even realizing the state of the road on which I was driving, I hit a slight bump and Ahhh. New pavement.

One of the best things is driving on new pavement. The road is smooth. There exist no potholes or bumps. It feels like riding on air. The car is quiet on a paved road. It is so nice to drive on a freshly paved road. The lines are clear. Sometimes, even a smell surrounds the vehicles as they drive. And there it is.

Up ahead, the masters behind the craftsmanship work on the rough road. I am so thankful to the hardworking men as I drive by their toil. It crosses my mind, "how do they make the lumpy asphalt so smooth?" I thank them mentally as I creep by in the traffic. The orange cones caution drivers to the mastery of the hardworking men. Driving on a newly paved road is so... BUMP. Oh! The road it not paved anymore. The sensation lasted for a mere 3 minutes but, driving on a newly paved road is quite the feeling nonetheless. The old road feels and looks sorry as my car roughly drives down the road. But, thank you to all who work on roads.

What is something that is a good thing to you? Maybe it is not driving on new roads but, what could it be? Get it out.

  1. Playing soccer in a field is a very good thing for me. I have not gotten to do that for a few years until recently and it is one of the best fun ever.

  2. That feeling is spectacular I cannot agree with you more. I have an Infiniti G35 and the car is pretty low to the ground. So when i hit a bump, i can bottom out and cause a lot of damage. So when i get on a rough road it bothers me, and Im forced to weave around those big potholes to prevent breaking my car. I can just drive with ease when i hit that newly paved road!
